R*GÉNÉRATION Project
Guyancourt, France
Observation: The passage of time has gradually rewritten the whole of this interior “territory” by accumulating different elements, thereby losing both its clarity and its identity.
Scenario: The ambition of our project is to rediscover an “original condition” capable of generating an immersive field, a support for different uses, from which “poetic objects” will emerge to house all the collective and collaborative practices. From the generic to the exceptional… The identity of this space lies in the structure of the building, the grid, and the potential it generates.
Read more: R*GÉNÉRATION ProjectThe objects are part of the history of mankind and design. Today they are being modified by the new possibilities offered by networks, information technology and interaction. We are witnessing the birth of a “new system of objects”. These objects are becoming interfaces, but we can also envisage that the interfaces themselves are becoming objects. These new objects will give rise to a new materiality, a new symbolism and a new aesthetic.
A sufficiently indefinite and neutral spatiality whose only function is to let its occupants exist.
