Teams from Groupe Giboire and the agency present the project to a number of people, including Jean-Marc Verchère, Mayor of Angers and Chairman of Angers Loire Métropole. The structural works will be completed in early December.

The end of a major stage for our Alta Tower
Following the completion of the structural work, the crane has been removed. The next step: delivery scheduled for the end of 2023.

End of the structural work, Alta, Le Havre
Event in Le Havre this week.
To celebrate the end of the structural work, all the members of the Alta project met for half a day in Le Havre. We were surrounded by all the teams of Legendre Construction and SOGEPROM. We would like to thank all the everyone who worked to bring this tower out of the ground.

It stands next to Auguste Perret’s rebuilt center (with its City Hall and St. Joseph’s Church) and Oscar Niemeyer’s Volcano.
See you at the end of November for the delivery of the 69 housing units + parking lot and the crèche.

End of the structural work, Emblem, Lille
Read more: End of the structural work, Emblem, LilleThe whole team, along with Icade, Groupe Duval, Nord France Construction, Redcat Architecture and Hexa Ingénierie were gathered to celebrate the end of the first phase of construction.
At the meeting point between roadway and railway infrastructure, as well as the Matisse park, our Emblem project will become a new entrance to the city of Lille. The program consists of 118 apartments, 9 000 m² of office space and parking.

Inauguration of Urban Quartz, Rennes
The office and retail space measuring 14 000m2 is the first building to be completed in the new EuroRennes district. The project was inaugurated by Nathalie Appére, the mayor of Rennes and Emmanuel Couet, president of Rennes Metropole on 30th January.

Japan Foundation – Usages
We have been invited by the Japan Foundation to present “Usages / subjective and factual analysis of public space” in the Japanese pavillon at the 2018 edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale (commissaire : Momoyo Kaijima, Laurent Stalder et Yu Iseki). This study, lead by David Trottin of PERIPHERIQUES / Marin+Trottin Architectes and Franck Tallon, is the result of various workshops carried out in large international cities: Tokyo, Mumbai, Paris, Lima, Shanghai…
Conference in New York
Jean-Christophe Masson participated in the conference “Innovative Housing: France/Denmark” with Jens Holm, partner of the 3XN US office. The debate was moderated by University of Columbia professor Brian Loughlin and took place on 29th November at the AIA New York Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, NY 10012.

Conference in Shanghai
As part of the “New Force of Architecture Leading Young Architects” lecture series, Jean-Christophe Masson was in Shanghai to give a conference on architectural heritage on 30th October. He is the first French person to have participated in this series, which ran from 2013-2015.
