Golden Box

Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine / IFA

Definition study for a temporary exhibition space during the renovation of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, this project was to be located on the basins adjacent to the Cité.

The gilded statues are placed inside, “museumified.” Clad entirely in gold stainless steel, this information and exhibition space is a suspended walkway that bridges the gap between contemporary architecture and historical heritage on an iconic site.
