Raconte-moi Villiot !

Imagined as a mechanism to strengthen the social project, “Rêvons Villiot” is a urban and citizen initiative that unfolds in three stages: 1) DEFINING EXPECTATIONS, 2) DEVELOPING A STRATEGY FOR ACTION, 3) ACTING & REALIZING THE SOCIAL PROJECT.

Organized during the second stage, THINKING OR RE-THINKING Villiot, the conference “TELL ME ABOUT VILLIOT!” led by architect and project manager Jean-Christophe Masson, aims to confront the initial concept of the project with its current reality, in the hope of initiating a productive and dynamic debate with all the stakeholders of this area.

Additionally, the goal is to enhance the value of the residence in the eyes of its tenants by highlighting the international journey of the project: from museums to global conferences, Villiot has distinguished itself through innovative concepts, both urban and socio-cultural, that it proposed at the time of its completion. Most tenants are unaware of this aesthetic and academic dimension of the residence, which has been studied as a model for urban and landscape requalification.

The conference will be followed by a debate with the architect, tenant representatives, site landlords, as well as representatives from the social center and local authorities. Beyond the clear intent to enhance the site in the eyes of its residents, there is also an effort to requalify Villiot for and by its tenants.
